Sperry Eppert and Associates is honored to be working with the Learning Enhancement Program to provide speech-language and occupational therapy services to the students of David Lipscomb again this school year. We would like to take this opportunity to reintroduce ourselves and provide you with a brief summary about our experience.
Marianne Sperry, M.A. CCC/SLP, received a master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Sperry has twelve years experience as a speech and language pathologist, specializing in language learning disorders. She has also been trained in The Wilson Language Program and the Linda Mood Bell Program. Work experience includes private practice, Currey Ingram School and most recently, founding the Easter Seals Pediatric Therapy Program locally. Mrs. Sperry has been in private practice for eight years. She is married to Andy and has two children Rees and Emme.
Christine Eppert, OTR/L, graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Eppert has fifteen years experience as an occupational therapist, specializing in visual motor abilities, handwriting (certified in Handwriting without Tears), fine motor skills, sensory processing disorders and visual processing. Mrs. Eppert served as Head of Occupational Therapy at Easter Seals Child Development Center for over four years. She routinely provides in-services regarding the importance of fine motor/visual motor skills and sensory motor development in education to both teachers and parents. Eppert is married to Mick Eppert, a Nashville business owner and has three children ages 12, 9 and 8.
Allison Henry, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, received her masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University in 1994. Since that time she has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, sub-acute rehabilitation, pre-schools and inpatient and outpatient settings with all ages. For five years Mrs. Henry worked part-time with Easter Seals Child Development Center serving children with a variety of diagnoses including oral-motor/feeding difficulties, speech delays/disorders and language delays/disorders. Her family includes husband Ned, daughter Madison-age 7, and son Noah-age 4.
Sperry Eppert and Associates is excited to be working with the Learning Enhancement Program, as well as the teachers of David Lipscomb.
